Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniusz Grzyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Sizzou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sizzou lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A jab from Sizzou misses.
Sizzou throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Grzyb counters by moving into the clinch.
Sizzou tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sizzou is trying to break the clinch but Grzyb is controlling him.
Sizzou tries to throw a body punch but Grzyb avoids it by throwing Sizzou back against the ropes.
Sizzou can't find room to land a body shot as Grzyb controls the action.
Grzyb misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sizzou.
Grzyb struggles to land a body shot inside as Sizzou controls his hands.
Grzyb connects with a knee to the head.
Sizzou misses with the head strike.

Grzyb keeps control of Sizzou as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sizzou is trying to maintain a safe position but Grzyb gets an underhook and turns Sizzou into the ropes.

Sizzou is trying to push Grzyb away but Grzyb has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Grzyb drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sizzou wants to stall.
Sizzou takes a knee to the side of the body.
Grzyb lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Carl Sizzou has been cut.
Grzyb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Grzyb shoots in and bounces Sizzou off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Grzyb is looking for a kimura but Sizzou is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grzyb to get the leverage.
