The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black avoids the head kick by Trouble.
Trouble throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Trouble thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Black tries to clinch up.

Trouble fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Black, pushing him back against the cage.

Nitro Trouble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Trouble rushes Black and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Black lands a with a good body shot.
Trouble could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Trouble circles away from the clinch attempt.
Black cracks Trouble with a good jab.
Trouble blocks a low kick nicely.
Trouble shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Trouble is breathing heavily.

Trouble swats away the attempt to clinch by Black.
Black fails in his attempt to clinch.
Trouble shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trouble not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Trouble's head.
Black passes Trouble's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Black seems to be looking for submissions.

Black drops an elbow to the side of Trouble's head.

Trouble is pressing down on Black's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Trouble is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Trouble manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.
Trouble throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Black works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trouble pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Black is keeping the position for now.

Trouble stands up from Black's guard - Trouble perhaps looking for a knockout.

Trouble shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Black but Black pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nitro Trouble. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trouble is looking to slow Black down with leg kicks.
Trouble takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Trouble darts in trying to clinch
and Black counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Trouble uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.
Trouble moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Trouble fails to land the takedown.

Trouble closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Trouble lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Black looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

A chopping leg kick lands by Trouble.
Trouble fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Black looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Black works his foot free and advances to mount.
Trouble tries to hold on but Black pushes him away.
Black lands a big elbow.
Trouble is trying to stand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Trouble regains half guard.

Black stands up from half guard.
Oooh a lovely combination from Black sends Trouble down but not out. Black dives into side control looking to finish.

Trouble is rocked!
Black in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Trouble looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Black turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
