PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob DWayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DWayne has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Soto.
Soto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DWayne's waist but DWayne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soto off to one side.
Soto shoots in looking for a takedown but DWayne manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Soto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manuel Soto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Soto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
DWayne looks gassed!
Horrible takedown by Soto or perhaps it was just good defense by DWayne which made him look bad.

Soto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. DWayne looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Soto could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
DWayne wants to control but Soto postures up.

Soto has worked his way into a potential kimura here. DWayne is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Soto yanks on the arm and DWayne is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Soto.
