The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engbloom throws a hook to the side of Brunson's head but Brunson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brunson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Engbloom moves away.
Brunson misses with a hook
enabling Engbloom to counter with a crisp jab.
Engbloom takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Engbloom lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brunson at a distance.
Brunson leaves Engbloom with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Engbloom has a takedown stuffed.
Engbloom tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brunson swivels and escapes.
Mike Brunson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klaus Engbloom.
Engbloom drops his hands momentarily and Brunson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Engbloom looks to land a strike but Brunson avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Engbloom paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Brunson - great work!
