Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Wiggin!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggin shoots in looking for a takedown but Sonni manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wiggin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wiggin misses with a head kick.
Wiggin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sonni tries a head kick but it misses.
Sonni clinches up against the cage.
Wiggin fails to pull guard.
Mahti Sonni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Wiggin.
Sonni makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Wiggin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sonni smiles and moves away.
Wiggin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wiggin has a takedown stuffed.
A combination from Sonni does no damage.
Sonni uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sonni smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wiggin fails with the takedown
and Sonni counters with a three punch combo that has Wiggin backing up. Wiggin nods at Sonni to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wiggin throws a head kick that misses
and Sonni counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice sprawl there from Sonni as Wiggin shoots in.
Wiggin with a poor takedown
and Sonni counters with a crisp right that sends Wiggin to the canvas! Sonni follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mahti Sonni!
