Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raven Bloodfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SixDollar Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burger comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ghosts n' Stuff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raven Bloodfist!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, SixDollar Burger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger stuffs the takedown attempt from Bloodfist. Bloodfist gets slowly back to his feet.
Bloodfist misses with a takedown attempt - Burger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bloodfist fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raven Bloodfist. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bloodfist will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bloodfist shoots in but no luck this time.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bloodfist has a takedown stuffed.
Bloodfist avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burger throws a lazy right hand but Bloodfist sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bloodfist closes this distance looking for a takedown but Burger circles away.

Burger closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bloodfist to the mat! Bloodfist manages to get full guard.

Burger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Burger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Burger tries to free his leg and advance position but Bloodfist is retaining full guard.

Bloodfist working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Burger has passed into half guard!

Bloodfist is defending against the submission attempts here by Burger.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Burger seems to be looking for submissions.
Burger trying to pass the guard but Bloodfist defending well.
Bloodfist manages to get to full guard.
Burger looks gassed!
Bloodfist wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bloodfist working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bloodfist wants to improve his position but Burger is controlling well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burger is thwarting Bloodfist's attempts to control the position.
Bloodfist is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burger tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bloodfist knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Burger tries for a takedown but Bloodfist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

SixDollar Burger dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bloodfist has his takedown stuffed

and Burger counters with a takedown into side control.
Bloodfist could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Burger wants to control but Bloodfist is keeping him busy.
Bloodfist is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Burger's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Burger is keen to just control but Bloodfist is a slippery customer.
Bloodfist works his way to full guard. Good work.
Burger pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bloodfist is keeping the position for now.

Burger is posturing up here but Bloodfist has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Burger tries to roll out but it's too tight and Burger has to tap! Slick submission there by Bloodfist!
