Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: 'Be Myself' by Charlie Brown Jr.. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Edwards changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Edwards manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva tries to clinch there but Edwards circles away.
Horrible takedown by Edwards or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Edwards tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Edwards is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Silva jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Edwards is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Edwards and Silva has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
