Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Leloup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Leloup to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Nick Quick has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Quick.
Quick slips a jab from Leloup.
Leloup looks to land a right hand but Quick moved out of range.
Quick moves out of range as Leloup strikes.
Quick misses with a body shot.
Leloup lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Quick at a distance.
Leloup drops Quick with a beautiful combination! Quick stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Leloup is looking for the KO!

Leloup misses with a few strikes there.
Leloup throws a right and a left that both miss.
Leloup throws a lazy uppercut
and Quick counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Quick counters with a nice uppercut.

Sloppy strikes from Quick. Those never looked like landing.

Quick throws out a loose jab but Leloup uses good head movement to avoid it.
Quick looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Quick dives in and grabs Leloup's left leg, looking for a takedown. Leloup pushes down on Quick's head and hops out.
Jon Leloup has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Quick.
Leloup tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quick was well out of range. Poor timing from Leloup.

Jon Leloup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quick shoots in looking for a takedown. Leloup tries to sprawl out of it but Quick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leloup manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leloup stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leloup wants it to stay on the feet.
Quick looks to throw the jab but Leloup is out of range.
Nice body punch from Leloup.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quick doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Leloup counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Quick to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Leloup!
