Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails to land the takedown.
Escudero throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones tries for a takedown but Escudero circles away easily
and Escudero counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Escudero lands with a right hand.
Escudero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Escudero to score with a decent uppercut.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Escudero moves away.
Escudero loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Escudero misses the jab.
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Escudero defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Escudero sprawls well. Escudero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones is breathing heavily.
Escudero misses with a looping left.
Robbie Escudero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Escudero throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Escudero displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Joe Jones has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Escudero lands a nice shot to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Escudero lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
Escudero steps in with a hook that catches Jones right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Escudero follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jones looks absolutely devastated.
