Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hank Bombay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Goldbeer Nana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Goldbeer Nana has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hank Bombay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Goldbeer Nana!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bombay scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bombay raining down shots from the mount!
Nana tries to lock up and control but Bombay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bombay punching from mount but Nana doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Nana tries to hold on but Bombay postures up.
Bombay sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bombay can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nana is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bombay looking to finish Nana with some ground and pound. This is bad for Nana!
Bombay unloads with some shots from mount but Nana bucks and avoids them well.
Nana is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bombay avoids the attempt from Nana to control.
Nana is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bombay is staying active.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bombay tries to control but Nana wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bombay is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nana is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bombay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bombay throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bombay tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bombay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bombay trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Hank Bombay has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Nana uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bombay.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bombay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nana sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bombay somewhat.

Nana feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Nana looks gassed!
Bombay looking for a sweep. Not yet Bombay, not yet.
Bombay controls Nana momentarily but Nana frees himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bombay is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bombay trying to control but Nana is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hank Bombay dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Bombay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nana's waist but Nana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bombay off to one side.
Bombay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nana sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bombay somewhat.

Nana throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bombay was covering up waiting for the punch and Nana finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bombay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nana gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bombay lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nana!

Bombay looking to control but Nana is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bombay working Nana over with strikes here.
Bombay wants to control the pace but Nana is squirming around nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bombay scoring with strikes but Nana is staying in there.
Nana is breathing heavily.

Bombay throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nana has his hands clasped together but Bombay breaks the hold and Nana is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Bombay!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hank Bombay!
