PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Rader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Europha Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rader kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is His Own Fight Video. Emanuel has chosen I'm Not Jesus - Apocalyptica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emanuel looks to throw the jab but Rader is out of range.
Emanuel doesn't manage to clinch there - Rader circles away.

Rader lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rader throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Emanuel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Emanuel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Emanuel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rader looks to score with a jab to the body but Emanuel is just out of range.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Emanuel is trying to maintain the position but Rader is very close to passing his half guard.

Emanuel has a hand on Rader's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rader takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rader tries to pass the half guard into mount. Emanuel knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Emanuel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rader is working away from the top position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rader wants to free his trapped foot but Emanuel is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A close round but Europha Emanuel will probably get the nod.

Emanuel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rader swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Emanuel lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rader backwards.

Rader's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Emanuel gets caught napping as Rader dives in and scores a takedown. Emanuel manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Emanuel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Emanuel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rader gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rader is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Emanuel has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rader is looking to defend but Emanuel has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rader! Emanuel pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rader taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Europha Emanuel!

Europha Emanuel spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
