The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon misses with a wild body shot.

Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gordon as he jumps to the side.
Gordon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wilson shoots in but no luck this time.
Gordon digs a good body shot into Wilson's ribs.
Gordon ducks under a wild hook from Wilson.
Wilson wants to slow Gordon down by chopping away at his legs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilson throws a wild hook but Gordon just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Wilson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Gordon raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
