Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Segal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Brodeur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marc Brodeur has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chuck Segal's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Segal has a takedown stuffed.
Segal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Brodeur shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Brodeur tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Segal.
Segal is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brodeur's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brodeur's back!
Brodeur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Segal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marc Brodeur hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
