Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Mael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mael has chosen It's Not All About You as his entrance music. Alan Mael is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manuel Soto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alan Mael !
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mael tries to keep at a distance but Soto has taken the fight into the clinch.
Soto digs a right hand into Mael 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mael 's gas tank.
Mael is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Soto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Soto tries to land knees in the clinch but Mael avoids the damage to the body.

Soto drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mael trying to control the position from guard on top but Soto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mael is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Soto has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mael is looking to defend but Soto has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mael ! Soto pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mael taps out and this one is all over!
