Hernando comes to the cage accompanied by HaunTed . Lips is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunderlips Theme. Both fighters look pumped up here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lips takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fighters circling - Lips throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hernando ducks under a wild hook from Lips.
Lips takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hernando thuds a left hand into Lips's body.
Hernando pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lips back to the cage. Hernando follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hernando goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lips misses with a wild body shot.
Hernando throws a nice inside leg kick.
A head kick from Hernando lands but Lips takes it in his stride.
It looks like Thunder Lips has been cut.
Hernando lands a left and a right that send Lips crashing to the mat, dazed. Hernando thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hernando looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hernando backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Lips's temple! It sends Lips violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hernando celebrates and the doctors try to help Lips!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Roberto Hernando!
