The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anibal shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches St Pierre napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
St Pierre takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
St Pierre tries to buck Anibal off but Anibal is having none of it.
Anibal trying to control the position but St Pierre is working away.
Anibal throwing strikes but St Pierre manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
St Pierre is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Anibal looks calm but he's in trouble here. St Pierre gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Anibal is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! St Pierre lets go of the hold and Anibal can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Georges St Pierre got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
