Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spikely Deeneero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruger has chosen American Idiot as his entrance music. Kruger has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Hans Kruger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deeneero will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Deeneero seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kruger for as long as he can get away with.

Deeneero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kruger's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kruger has hold of Deeneero's hands but Deeneero slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Deeneero is nestled in close to Kruger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Deeneero takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
