Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Morrow!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morrow slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Morrow wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.
Morrow tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A big left from Morrow misses.
Morrow wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Morrow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
Morrow stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christopher Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morrow tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.
Morrow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.

Morrow throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.

Jackson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Morrow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson stands up from Morrow's guard - Jackson perhaps looking for a knockout.

Morrow misses with the combination.
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Morrow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Morrow tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Morrow.
Morrow avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morrow stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jackson is taking a breather. Morrow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

and Morrow counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at Morrow to acknowledge the strikes.
Morrow throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Morrow wants to get back to his feet.

Jackson wants to control but Morrow is keeping him busy.
Morrow is breathing heavily.

Jackson is just content to waste time from the top position. Morrow takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jackson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jackson is trying to drag Morrow to the mat but Morrow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Morrow which made him look bad.

Morrow throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morrow avoids it really well and circles away.
Morrow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morrow wants it to stay on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Morrow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Christopher Jackson will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

No joy there for Morrow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Morrow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Morrow circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Jackson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morrow did well to prevent Jackson getting side control.

Jackson is looking to advance position but Morrow won't allow it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jackson trying to mount his opponent but Morrow defends it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
