The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langston takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kenny shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Langston as he avoids it easily.

Kenny moves into the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Kenny.
Kenny keeps control of Langston as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Langston prevents a takedown attempt there.
Langston can't break the clinch.
Kenny is working for takedown but Langston is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glenn Kenny. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Langston wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Langston wants to get back to striking at distance but Kenny won't allow it.
Kenny jumps guard but Langston stands there with Kenny around his waist. Kenny gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kenny drops down looking for an ankle pick but Langston pulls his leg out and moves away.
Langston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kenny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kenny drives through with a takedown into guard.
Langston is looking to stand back up but Kenny counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Langston.

Kenny decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Langston is looking to land body kicks.
Langston misses with a double jab.
Langston looks gassed!

Kenny gets a takedown into half guard.
Langston is trying to stand back up but Kenny is controlling him
Kenny is keen to just control but Langston is a slippery customer.
Langston pushes Kenny off looking to stand but Kenny dives back in and keeps control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Langston can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kenny content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kenny passes to full mount!

Langston trying desperately to get to his feet.

Kenny looking to control but Langston is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kenny won't let Langston get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Langston somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Langston connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Kenny to the floor! Langston dives in looking for the finish!

Langston stands up and beckons Kenny to join him on the feet.
Kenny slips a jab and a cross from Langston.
Kenny shoots in for a takedown but Langston shows good takedown defense.
Kenny shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Joe Langston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kenny moves in looking to clinch but Langston pushes him off.
Crack! A monster head kick from Langston and Kenny falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Langston!
