The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Viidakko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Viidakko is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Viidakko is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Viidakko slips a nice elbow through Jackson's hands, connecting with Jackson's forehead.

Viidakko is trying to control. Jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Viidakko works his foot free and advances to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
