The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward throws an off balance right hand
and Marius Nero counters with a head kick that drops Ward to the mat! Ward scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice defenses there by Marius Nero.
Marius Nero fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ward, pushing him back against the cage.
Marius Nero stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ward wants to break free but Marius Nero has control.
Ward has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Ward looks gassed!
Marius Nero with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Marius Nero working the clinch nicely. Ward is working for position but Marius Nero cracks him with a big knee to the head! Ward crumples up against the cage and Marius Nero lands two more shots before the ref can save Ward! This one is all over!
