Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Kikui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choke Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hiro Kikui has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hiro Kikui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Choke Out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out misses with a head kick.
Out shoots for a takedown but Kikui saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Out misses with a two punch combination.

Out feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Out accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kikui wants to sweep but no luck.
Out won't allow Kikui to get back to his feet.
Out sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kikui's guard.
Kikui tries to get to full guard but Out has control of the leg.
Kikui won't allow Out to pass to mount.
Out prevents Kikui from improving his position.

Out stops Kikui from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Out decides to stand and escape the position.
Out fails to land the takedown.
Out throws a head kick but Kikui moves out of range.

Out fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kikui to the ground. Out is now in Kikui's guard.
Kikui wants to sweep here but Out controlling him for the moment.
Out wants to control from the top but Kikui keeps moving.

Kikui looking to hit a scissor sweep but Out is one step ahead there.
Kikui on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kikui tries to get out of the position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Out looking to sit in guard and control but Kikui gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Out is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Out is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Kikui wants to stand but Out has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Out wants to sweep here but Kikui controlling him for the moment.

Out not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Out lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kikui!
Kikui is squirming around, avoiding Out's attempts to control the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Out goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kikui is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Choke Out dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kikui doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Out counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kikui wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Out connects with a nice short shot to Kikui's temple.

Kikui is defending against the submission attempts here by Out.
Out is trying to control the action in half guard but Kikui is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Out wants to pass to mount but Kikui is defending the position.
Choke Out has got the better of the ground game so far.
Out misses with a head shot. Kikui uses the momentum to regain guard.

Kikui preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Kikui working for submissions but it's allowed Out to get to half guard.
Out works his way into full mount!
Kikui wants to control but Out is having none of it.
Kikui knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Out on the ground.

You get the feeling that Kikui really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kikui is in a horrible position here. Out smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Out lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Out is working for a guillotine from mount but Kikui frees his head quite easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kikui wants to get back to his feet.
Out lands a nice shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Choke Out showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kikui stuffs the takedown.

Hiro Kikui has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Choke Out.
Out fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kikui avoids it really well and circles away.
Out has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Out has his feet on Kikui's thighs here. He's pushed Kikui off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kikui screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
