The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox misses the shot to the body.
Brown lands a jab to the nose.
Maddox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maddox pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Brown darts in and clinches Maddox up against the cage.
Nice elbow from Brown.
Brown misses with a body punch.
A frustrated look appears on Maddox's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Brown misses with the head strike.
Maddox wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brown has him pressed against the cage.
Maddox tries to land knees in the clinch but Brown avoids the damage to the body.
Maddox goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Brown has a couple of punches blocked by Maddox.
Brown lands a shoulder strike.
Maddox prevents a body shot from Brown.
Maddox wants to break the clinch but can't.
Maddox wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maddox has had enough of the clinch but Brown keeps him there for the moment.
Maddox wants to get back to striking at distance but Brown won't allow it.

Maddox is trying to break the clinch but Brown is controlling him.
Brown lands an elbow that stopped Maddox in his tracks for a moment.
Brown landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Brown lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Brown throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Maddox's defenses.
A nice right hand lands inside from Brown.
Maddox is looking to control Brown's arms but Brown gets an underhook and turns him. Now Maddox has his back to the cage.
Brown lands a good knee to the midsection. Maddox won't want to take too many of those.
Brown gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Brown manages to break the clinch.
Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Brown lands a big head kick that sends Maddox tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Maddox back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Maddox is rocked!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.
Maddox is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Brown digs a good body shot into Maddox's ribs.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Brown knocks Maddox out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Cleveland Brown spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
