The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girl wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Girl looks to land a right hand but Kviser moved out of range.
Girl lands a nice shot to the body.
Kviser looks gassed!
Kviser ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kviser uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Girl.
A decent looking cross lands there for Girl.

Girl drops Kviser with a big left hand and mounts him. Kviser is in big trouble!

Kviser is rocked!

It looks like Mister Kviser has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Girl working for a guillotine from mount but Kviser is in no mood to give up.

Girl get's back to his feet.
Kviser avoids the body shot from Girl.
Kviser tries to score with a low kick but Girl moves his leg out of the way.
Kviser throws a head kick that misses.
The fighters circling - Girl throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Good work by Girl as he checks the leg kick.
Kviser is looking to chop away at Girl's legs.
Barby Girl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Girl takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kviser shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Girl counters with a huge left! Kviser is in big trouble! He's backing up but Girl isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Kviser from any more damage. A dominating finish by Girl!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barby Girl!
A pretty intense looking Barby Girl took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
