Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by I'd Love to Knock the Hell Out of You. Styles is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman by Metallica. Styles misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Styles.
Styles swats away the attempt to clinch by Diaz.
Styles swings for the body but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Styles.
Styles throws a big shot that misses.
The crowd cheers as Styles lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though.
Styles stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken.
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Styles is looking to slow Diaz down with leg kicks.

Styles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diaz swivels and escapes.

Styles shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Diaz is trying to defend but Styles finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
