The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brian Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the body from Penn misses

and Pagliera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Penn won't be happy with that.
Pagliera is looking to take a break and control but Penn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pagliera goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Penn rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pagliera's guard! Nice work there by Penn!

Pagliera isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Penn stacks Pagliera on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Penn!
Pagliera trying to control but Penn flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Penn gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Penn punishes Pagliera with strikes from the back mount.
Penn doesn't have the hooks in and Pagliera manages to turn into his guard.
Pagliera sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Penn's guard.

Pagliera is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pagliera is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Penn is just riding it out for now. Pagliera eventually gives up the hold.

Pagliera seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Penn is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
