Strongfist comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kanye West - Amazing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dwight Strongfist will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dwight Strongfist!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Strongfist.
Strongfist scores with a punch to the head.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Strongfist sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Scott scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Dwight Strongfist has been cut.

Scott fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Strongfist, pushing him back against the cage.
Scott is trying to drag Strongfist to the mat but Strongfist just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Strongfist blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scott turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Scott manages to end up in side control.

Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Strongfist is working to avoid the ground and pound but Scott connects with a decent elbow.

Scott's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Strongfist can do anything to dispel that myth.
Scott wants to control but Strongfist is keeping him busy.
Strongfist wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

A lull in the action here as Scott stalls from top position.
Check out the look on Scott's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott slows the pace down.
Scott is chipping away with strikes.
Strongfist is trying to escape the position but Scott is controlling the position.
Scott cracks Strongfist with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Scott lands a strong strike to the head of Strongfist. That's dazed him! Scott looking to finish here. Strongfist is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Scott lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wrestling Scott!
Wrestling Scott spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
