Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobuli Araguli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Claw Jimenez!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Araguli as he jumps to the side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jimenez has his takedown stuffed

and Araguli counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

With the fighters up against the cage, Araguli throws an elbow but misses.
Jimenez is working for takedown but Araguli is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jimenez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Araguli is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Araguli makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jimenez really felt that one!
