Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between O Fortuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortuna comes to the cage accompanied by O Fortuna. Hardon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ameno. O Fortuna has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, O Fortuna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Hardon!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortuna throws a low kick but Hardon avoids it.
A lazy left from Hardon finds it's target.
Hardon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fortuna sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardon checks the leg kick.
Hardon takes one on the button.
Fortuna looks to land a left hand but Hardon moved out of range nicely.
Hardon shoots in for a takedown but Fortuna shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fortuna.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hardon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fortuna - the referee stops the clock and Hardon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fortuna. Hardon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fortuna scoring well with a low kick there.
Hardon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fortuna tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hardon is in Fortuna's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fortuna scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fortuna dips to his left and cracks Hardon with an uppercut!
Nice defenses there by Hardon.
Fortuna throws the left hand but Hardon avoids the punch easily.
Hardon shoots in but Fortuna avoids the takedown attempt easily.
O Fortuna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Hardon.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fortuna blocks a jab.
Fortuna listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Big Hardon has been cut.
Fortuna throws a body kick that misses.
Fortuna lands a head kick!
Fortuna swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fortuna checks a low kick from Hardon.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fortuna. Hardon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fortuna scores with a head kick. Hardon tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Hardon ducks right into an uppercut from Fortuna.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hardon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fortuna just misses with a punch to the body.
Fortuna misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fortuna throws a sloppy head kick
and Hardon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fortuna buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fortuna wants to slow Hardon down by chopping away at his legs.
Hardon misses with a takedown attempt
and Fortuna counters with a stiff right hand.
Hardon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fortuna moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good leg kick by Fortuna there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fortuna uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardon.
Hardon misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fortuna slips under a jab.
O Fortuna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fortuna cracks the inside of Hardon's front leg.
Fortuna scores with a push kick.
Nice straight punches there by Fortuna. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fortuna.
Fortuna thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hardon if he has to take too many more of those.
Hardon looks gassed!
The crowd cheers as Fortuna lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hardon doesn't seem phased though.
Fortuna explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fortuna lands a big head kick that sends Hardon tumbling to the mat! Fortuna takes a step backwards and waves Hardon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hardon is rocked!
That has opened up Big Hardon's cut even more.
Fortuna lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Hardon is looking to close the distance but Fortuna sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Hardon crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Hardon is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). O Fortuna!
