Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zakhar Feofan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard has chosen Immortality by Pearl Jam as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feofan tries to clinch but Howard moves out of range.
Howard moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Zakhar Feofan has been cut.

Feofan has closed the distance and engaged Howard in a clinch.
Howard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Howard tries to break free but Feofan pushes him back against the cage.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Feofan drives through and clinches with Howard against the cage.
Feofan wants to take the fight to the mat but Howard manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Howard is trying to break the clinch but Feofan is controlling him.
Howard is pressed up against the cage. Feofan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Howard down to the mat. Howard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Howard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Howard counters with a big uppercut that knocks Feofan off his feet! Howard dives into side control looking to finish!
Feofan is looking to get back to his feet here but Howard is keeping cool and he's managed to take Feofan's back.

Howard gets back to his feet. Feofan is certainly not going to complain about that decision.
Feofan tries to close the distance and clinch but Howard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Howard throws a nice looking combination but Feofan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Howard gets caught flat footed, as Feofan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Howard can do anything to dispel that myth.

We're going to have a standup here because Zakhar Feofan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

No joy there for Howard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Howard feints a jab promting Feofan to slip. Howard then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Feofan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Howard throws an overhand right that drops Feofan like a sack of potatoes! Howard dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Dwayne Howard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
