Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Harkkonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Thompson tries for a takedown. No joy.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Thompson.
Thompson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Harkkonan after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Thompson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harkkonan is pressed up against the cage. Thompson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harkkonan down to the mat. Harkkonan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Thompson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Harkkonan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harkkonan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Thompson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Thompson shoots in looking for a takedown but Harkkonan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Thompson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harkkonan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Thompson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Harkkonan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Harkkonan gets the takedown into side control.

Thompson is pushing Harkkonan's head away, looking to escape. Harkkonan manages to hold on to the position though.
Thompson gets back to half guard.
Harkkonan wants to stand up but Thompson is controlling the position.

Harkkonan throwing shots but Thompson is blocking nicely.
Thompson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Thompson tries to roll over but Harkkonan keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Thompson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harkkonan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Thompson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Thompson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Harkkonan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Thompson's body to avoid the submission. Thompson has instead reached around Harkkonan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Thompson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
