Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barclay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Harder They Come by Jimmy Cliff. Hughes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Country boy can survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Hughes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hughes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hughes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Hughes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Barclay Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ratt Hughes.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hughes. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
