Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spotted Cow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koichi Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koichi Kano will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kano has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cow finds it's way round the side to connect with Kano's head.
Kano takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Spotted Cow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cow lands with a nice combination. Kano backs away looking to recover.
Cow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kano.
Cow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kano was well out of range. Poor timing from Cow.
Kano tries to land a leg kick but Cow saw it coming and moves away.

and Cow makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kano moves forwards but Cow connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Cow makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kano really felt that one!

Kano's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cow connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kano scrambles back to his feet.
Kano takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Kano tries to close the distance and clinch but Cow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kano throws a low kick, looking for Cow's leg but Cow calmly moves out of range.

Cow's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kano under the eye.

Cow punishes Kano's body with a nice straight punch.
Cow cracks the inside of Kano's front leg.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cow - the referee stops the clock and Kano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cow. Kano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kano can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cow is looking to take a break and control but Kano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kano is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cow scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kano takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kano fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cow checks it well.
Some bone on bone action there as Cow checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Cow fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kano.

Cow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kano sprawls well. Kano wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cow gets slowly back to his feet.

A punch lands to the side of Kano 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Kano takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Cow connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kano. Kano circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kano is rocked!
Cow lands a big right hook! Kano looks hurt but is still standing! Cow lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Kano falls down and Cow dives in with a huge hammer fist! Kano's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Cow runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
