The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanc fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Walker throws a nice head kick!
Walker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Walker lands with a slapping head kick.
Blanc shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Blanc shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense.

Walker throws a leg kick which misses Blanc's front leg but catches the back leg as Blanc tries to avoid it.

Blanc decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Walker is trying to control but can't.
Blanc passes the guard and advances to mount!
Blanc prevents Walker from getting the reversal.
