The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bantrell has managed to clinch.
Bantrell misses with a knee strike.
Bourque has had enough of the clinch but Bantrell keeps him there for the moment.
Bourque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bourque can't break the clinch.
Bantrell creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bourque tries to circle away but Bantrell has him pinned against the cage.
Bourque with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Bourque wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bantrell has him pressed against the cage.

Bantrell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Timothy Bourque has been cut.

Bourque ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bantrell moves away.
Bantrell misses with a wild body shot.
Bourque tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bantrell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Bantrell! Bourque is out on his feet! Bantrell rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bourque is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bourque is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
