Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Clinganger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall has chosen I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall scores with a jab to the body.

Clinganger manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marshall on his heels. He'll look to pass Marshall's guard now, I'm sure.

Clinganger uses his free foot to push down on Marshall's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Marshall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marshall is trying to escape the mount.
Marshall stops Clinganger from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Clinganger is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Marshall can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Clinganger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Marshall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Marshall, as that shot connected.
Marshall has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Marshall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Isaac Clinganger.
I think Marshall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Riley Marshall was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
