Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Clancey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Manningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manningham has chosen Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manningham instigates a clinch.

Manningham drives through and clinches with Clancey against the cage.

Manningham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Clancey looks to land a left hand but Manningham moved out of range nicely.
Clancey misses with a two punch combination.

Manningham dives in and scores a takedown into Clancey's guard.
Manningham trying to control the position from guard on top but Clancey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Manningham stands and steps away. Clancey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Manningham shoots for a double leg takedown but Clancey sprawls well. He's pushed Manningham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Manningham with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Clancey to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manningham avoids the head kick by Clancey.

and Manningham counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Manningham.
Manningham keeps control of Clancey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Manningham takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Manningham tries to clinch but Clancey moves out of range.
Clancey lands a nice shot to the body.

Manningham is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Clancey's half guard.
Clancey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Manningham on the ground.
Manningham has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Manningham working for a submission but Clancey is keeping him at bay.
Clancey is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
