PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Drew Olbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olbo comes to the cage accompanied by When We Ride on our Enemys. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Olbo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Olbo wants to control from the top but Chan keeps moving.
Olbo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Olbo trying to control but Chan is working from the bottom.
Olbo forces his way into half guard.
Olbo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chan keeps working.
Chan trying to hold on to Olbo's head to control him but Olbo postures up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Olbo connects with a nice short shot to Chan's temple.
Olbo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Chan is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Olbo has latched onto it... Big trouble! Olbo pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Chan is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Olbo!
