Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Neidhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Skylewalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luke Skylewalker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Jim Neidhart has been cut.
Skylewalker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Neidhart backs up against the cage.
Skylewalker throws a right hand that Neidhart ducks under and follows up with a left that Neidhart also avoids with ease.

Neidhart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skylewalker to the mat! Skylewalker manages to get full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Skylewalker throws a knee to the head but misses.
Neidhart taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Skylewalker using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Neidhart has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Neidhart seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jim Neidhart.

Neidhart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skylewalker paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Skylewalker lands a really nice looking cross but Neidhart seems unphased.

Skylewalker plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Skylewalker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Neidhart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skylewalker manages to avoid it.
Skylewalker thows a body shot but no joy.
Skylewalker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Neidhart is rocked!
Skylewalker throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Neidhart crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
