PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mega Mindy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mindy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'M T.N.T. Hakeem Jabbar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar throws a wild body kick that Mindy sees coming a mile off.
Mindy with a hook.
Mindy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mindy tests Jabbar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mindy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jabbar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jabbar clinches up against the cage.

Mindy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jabbar closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Jabbar is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Mindy . That's going to slow Jabbar down.
Mindy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mindy throws a shot to the body.
Jabbar looks gassed!
Jabbar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mindy manages to break the clinch.
Mindy cracks Jabbar on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jabbar falls backwards against the cage. Mindy follows up with more strikes that drop Jabbar to his knees. Mindy keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jabbar! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mega Mindy !
