PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pietrus Malkevicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hei Jari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malkevicius kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Arch Enemy - We Will Rise. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Jari.
Jari scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jari displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Malkevicius throws out the jab.
Malkevicius throws out a loose jab but Jari uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jari walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Malkevicius checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jari misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Malkevicius.
Jari scores with a nice strike.
Jari throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Malkevicius thows a body shot but no joy.
Jari tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Malkevicius has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Jari counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Jari lands a left and a right that send Malkevicius crashing to the mat, dazed. Jari thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Jari counters with a huge left! Malkevicius is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jari isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Malkevicius from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jari!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). hei Jari!
After the fight, hei Jari was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
