The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone throws a body punch but Boksingero moves out of range.
Boksingero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A jab from Boksingero does it's job there.
Gus Corleone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corleone throws a lazy uppercut
and Boksingero counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A left lands for Boksingero.
Corleone misses with a low kick as Boksingero jumps back.
Corleone thows a body shot but no joy.
Boksingero checks the leg kick.
Corleone misses with a wild body shot.
Corleone drops his hands momentarily and Boksingero takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Corleone throws a hook to the side of Boksingero's head but Boksingero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boksingero lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Corleone just misses with a punch to the body.

Boksingero pushes Corleone up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Boksingero scores with a shot to the side of Corleone's head.

Boksingero lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Boksingero tries to throw a body punch but Corleone avoids it by throwing Boksingero back against the cage.
Corleone has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Boksingero misses with a hook from the clinch.
Corleone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Boksingero has him pressed against the cage.
Corleone is trying to break free.
Corleone blocks a body shot from Boksingero.
Boksingero makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Boksingero.
Boksingero doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Boksingero has Corleone pressed against the cage, preventing Corleone from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Boksingero tries a body shot but Corleone blocks it.
Corleone has had enough of the clinch but Boksingero keeps him there for the moment.
Corleone wants to break free but Boksingero has control.
Boksingero digs a right hand into Corleone's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Corleone's gas tank.
Boksingero gets through Corleone's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Boksingero lands with a right to the head.

It looks like Gus Corleone has been cut.
Corleone is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boksingero works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Boksingero lands a left hand that snaps the head of Corleone backwards.

Boksingero drops Corleone onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Corleone is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Corleone is rocked!
Boksingero pushes Corleone against the cage. Boksingero is working some dirty boxing. Boksingero pushes off with a quick right hook! Corleone goes down! Corleone tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Boksingero moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
