PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Zygan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward comes into the arena with Tap Out blaring out of the sound system. Kamil Zygan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zygan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ward napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ward has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zygan has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ward throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Zygan is posturing up here but Ward has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Zygan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Zygan has to tap! Slick submission there by Ward!

Rick Ward tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
