Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuffie Kisaragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kisaragi comes to the cage accompanied by Bezimienni - Walka. Carvalho has chosen Notorious BIG - Victory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yuffie Kisaragi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Matheus Carvalho!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Matheus Carvalho has been cut.
Carvalho misses with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carvalho.
Carvalho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kisaragi.
Carvalho connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kisaragi momentarily.
Kisaragi drops his hands momentarily and Carvalho takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kisaragi throws a chopping leg kick but Carvalho manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Carvalho doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kisaragi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carvalho's guard now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kisaragi sitting in guard here, content to control.
Kisaragi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carvalho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kisaragi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carvalho works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Yuffie Kisaragi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kisaragi throws a lazy head kick
and Carvalho counters with a left to the body.
Kisaragi has a takedown stuffed.
Carvalho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Carvalho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kisaragi keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kisaragi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Carvalho throws a strike aimed at the side of Kisaragi's head but Kisaragi avoids it well.
Carvalho sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kisaragi is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kisaragi tries to improve position but can't.
Kisaragi wants to get back to his feet but Carvalho drags him back down.
Kisaragi is breathing heavily.
Carvalho lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kisaragi down.
Kisaragi is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carvalho sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kisaragi is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kisaragi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Carvalho's best efforts.
Carvalho thows a huge punch but Kisaragi dodges it nicely.
Kisaragi has hold of Carvalho's hands but Carvalho slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carvalho connects with a nice short shot to Kisaragi's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kisaragi is refusing to be controlled, as Carvalho sits in half guard.
Carvalho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kisaragi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Carvalho scores with a couple of nice shots.
Carvalho frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Carvalho punishing his opponent with strikes.
Kisaragi holds on for dear life.
Kisaragi is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kisaragi is bucking up trying to escape but Carvalho cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Yuffie Kisaragi has been cut.
Carvalho breaks from Kisaragi's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carvalho with shots to the head and body - Kisaragi looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carvalho has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kisaragi's face.
Carvalho landing strikes from the mount.
Kisaragi tries to lock up and control but Carvalho gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Carvalho scoring with strikes but Kisaragi is staying in there.
Carvalho takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carvalho scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kisaragi?
Carvalho is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Carvalho lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Carvalho lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kisaragi hang on?
Kisaragi tries to hold on but Carvalho pushes him away.
Carvalho putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matheus Carvalho dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Carvalho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carvalho feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kisaragis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Carvalho lands a jab to the nose.
Kisaragi is rocked!
Carvalho tries to bum rush Kisaragi with a series of wild strikes but Kisaragi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carvalho lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Oh Kisaragi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kisaragi looks up at the clock. Bad move! Carvalho lands a right hand from hell, dropping Kisaragi. Carvalho pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matheus Carvalho!
