The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arienzo looks to throw the jab but Roc is out of range.
Roc throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Roc takes one on the button.
Arienzo throws a right hand that misses
letting Roc counter with a right hand.
Roc throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Roc walks into a left hand.
Arienzo misses with an uppercut. Roc saw that one coming.
Carlos Arienzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roc cracks Arienzo with a right hand to the side of the head.
Arienzo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Roc connects with a crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arienzo just misses with a punch to the body.
Arienzo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Arienzo scores with the left hand. Roc knows he should have avoided that one.
Roc bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Roc uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Arienzo.
The fighters circle momentarily. Roc darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Arienzo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arienzo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roc!

In his post fight interview, Carlos Arienzo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
