Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Valcone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richter Alastrasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shane Valcone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richter Alastrasz!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alastrasz swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Valcone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Alastrasz's guard now.

Valcone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alastrasz but Alastrasz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alastrasz lands with an uppercut that bounces Valcone off the cage and back into range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alastrasz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Valcone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alastrasz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Richter Alastrasz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Valcone steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alastrasz.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Richter Alastrasz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Valcone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
