Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phineus Gage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Aquino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gage's entrance music is Guns N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle. A fine choice. Manny Aquino will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gage fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Aquino fails in his attempt to clinch.
Aquino lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Gage swings away with a body shot that misses
and Aquino decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gage's guard.
Gage keeping moving, preventing Aquino from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Manny Aquino was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Gage lands with a shot to the body.

Gage fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Aquino drops his hands momentarily and Gage takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gage scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gage scores with a hook to the body. Aquino takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gage throws a leg kick that misses.
Aquino shoots in for a double leg but Gage sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gage throws a nice looking combination but Aquino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Aquino gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Gage to counter with a crisp jab.
Aquino looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aquino shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gage as he jumps to the side.
Phineus Gage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Aquino.
A nice combination there by Gage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gage looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gage throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gage closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Aquino is rocked!
Aquino walks straight into a right hand from Gage - that's dropped him! Gage jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Aquino from any more punishment! Aquino complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Phineus Gage!
