Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Landscape Blackmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Trendell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Landscape Blackmore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Morgan Trendell!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackmore shoots in and bounces Trendell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Trendell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blackmore is aware though and is defending well.

Blackmore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trendell circles away.
Trendell throws a head kick but Blackmore moves out of range.
Trendell throws the left hand but Blackmore avoids the punch easily.

Landscape Blackmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blackmore shoots in for a double leg but Trendell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Trendell lands a leg kick that knocks Blackmore off balance momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Blackmore closes the distance and pushes Trendell back into the cage.
Blackmore goes for a takedown attempt but Trendell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Blackmore shoots in for a takedown but Trendell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Trendell enables Blackmore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trendell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Morgan Trendell wasn't active enough on the ground.

Blackmore closes the distance and clinches up with Trendell, looking for a takedown. Blackmore pushes Trendell against the cage but Trendell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A head kick from Trendell lands but Blackmore takes it in his stride.


It looks like Landscape Blackmore has been cut.
Morgan Trendell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blackmore takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Landscape Blackmore is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Trendell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Blackmore stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trendell.

Morgan Trendell seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Trendell lands with a slapping head kick.
Trendell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Blackmore if he has to take too many more of those.

Trendell lands a big head kick that sends Blackmore tumbling to the mat! Trendell takes a step backwards and waves Blackmore back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Blackmore is rocked!
Nice takedown defense from Trendell. No joy for Blackmore on that attempt.
Oh Blackmore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Trendell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Blackmore seems to have got his legs back now.
Blackmore walks forward, straight into a front kick from Trendell.
Trendell looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Trendell backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Blackmore's temple! It sends Blackmore violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Trendell celebrates and the doctors try to help Blackmore!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Morgan Trendell!
During a confident post fight interview, Morgan Trendell thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
