Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Kazarian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lenny Jack!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kazarian feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jack's calf.
Kazarian throws a leg kick that misses.

Kazarian fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jack sprawls well initially but Kazarian persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kazarian lands a nice short elbow.
Kazarian slows the pace down in half guard.
Kazarian's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kazarian works his foot free and advances to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kazarian is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jack can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kazarian looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jack tries to hold on but Kazarian pushes him away.
Jack in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Kazarian working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jack looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kazarian! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tony Kazarian!
A very excited looking Tony Kazarian rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
