Khasm closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smith tries to get to full guard but Khasm has control of the leg.

Smith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khasm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khasm's back!

Smith has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Khasm doesn't defend quickly enough and Smith has managed to lock this one up! Can Khasm escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Smith on a fantastic submission victory.
